She graduated from high school in Summerville, South Carolina and attended the College of Charleston where she majored in Biology. Dr. Pinsky worked as a veterinary technician for several years and worked at the International Primate Protection League, where she cared for 18 Gibbon Apes and otters. After earning her degree in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia, Dr. Pinsky practiced in Decatur at Emory Animal Hospital. She joined the Dunwoody Animal Medical Center in 1999 and is a qualified member of the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. Dr. Pinsky lives in Dunwoody with her husband and her two young children. When she is not working or tending to her five dogs, two cats and African Grey Parrot, Dr. Pinsky enjoys exercising, horseback riding, traveling, cooking and baking in her spare time.
